IPL: Nitish Kumar Reddy broke silence on SRH exit rumors. Cricket news

India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy on Sunday reduced the reports that they are trying to go to another franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) from their IPL franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad. A part of the media stated that 22-year-old all-rounder was looking up to leave up with a new franchise before leaving the party led by Pat Cummins and a new franchise before the 2026 edition.

Reddy posted on ‘X’ on Sunday. I stay away from noise, but some things deserve clarity. My relationship with SRH is made on trust, respect and shared passion of years. Reddy enjoyed the 2024 IPL season with Sunrisers, due to which he was selected for India’s T20 Eye side against Bangladesh and then for the test side in Australia, where he scored a hundred runs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the fourth Test. Returning from an injury, Reddy was equal in the 2025 edition of the IPL. In 13 matches, the right-handed batsman managed to manage just 182 runs and a strike rate of 118.95 at an average of 22.75, while taking just two wickets with his middle-matched bowling.Quiz: Who is that IPL player? The young all -rounder recently had to return from England after suffering a knee injury before the fourth test against England in Manchester. The injury meant that the Andhra cricketer was dropped from the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar trophy. The BCCI said in its official statement, “All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been dropped out of the remaining two tests due to a left knee injury. Nitish will fly back home, and the team wishes him to get well soon.” Reddy scored 45 runs in two Tests played in England and took three wickets. He was replaced by Mumbai’s Seam-Bauling all-rounder Shardul Thakur for the fourth Test. Reddy will clearly recall the upcoming Dalip Trophy due to his injury.
