Israel launched a military operation against Iran late Thursday night, reporting blasts in the capital Tehran. The International Monitor says Iran has continued to enrich uranium close to arms-grade levels.The strike comes when the Trump administration is trying to reach an agreement with Iran to limit its nuclear program. American envoy Steve Witcoff has five rounds of talks with Iranian officials. It is not clear whether the US was involved in the operation of Israel, but there are no signs.However, US State Secretary Marco Rubio denied US participation, and US officials insisted that the strike was the decision of Israel.“Tonight, Israel took unilateral action against Iran. We are not involved in attacks against Iran and our highest priority is protecting American forces in the region,” said the US State Secretary. “Israel advised us that he believes that this action was necessary for his self -defense. President Trump and Administration have taken all necessary steps to protect our army and remain in close contact with our regional partners.
