But the flames started shooting, I saw that the explosion was done. I was scared. I showed the video to my sister. I told my father about it too.”Aryan was trying to capture a regular flight in action, unaware that he would film one of the most deadly aviation accidents in the recent memory.Flight AI 171, bound to London, crashed soon after flying from Ahmedabad Airport on the afternoon of June 12. Only one of the 242 people survived the board. The deceased was the Chief Minister of former Gujarat Vijay Rupani.Aryan’s video, which shows the aircraft rapidly descending and then surrounded in flames, is being widely transmitted and has become an important record of the final moments of the sick flight.Meanwhile, the authorities have started a serious task of identifying the sacred remains of the victims. Ahmedabad Civil Hospital is relying on DNA and blood samples provided by relatives to match and release the bodies.Additional Medical Superintendent of Hospital, Dr. Rajneesh Patel said, “31 DNA bodies have been matched. 12 bodies have been handed over to their family members.” “We are waiting for others to come and collect the remains of our relatives.”
