New Delhi: At least ten drone items were found to be flying in the night sky in Kolkata, inspiring the police to investigate the matter from all angles.Officials told the news agency PTI that the goods were found flying on the Hastings area, Vidyasagar Setu and the field on Monday night.After the incident, the Center has sought a report from the West Bengal government, a senior bureaucrat of the state administration.Kolkata’s Defense Pro told ANI, “The report of the drone has been received on Kolkata and is currently being investigated. Efforts are underway to find out the veracity of the incident. Further information will be shared as the facts will be established.”Hastings police station personnel first saw these flying objects similarities with drones.A police officer said, “These objects such as drones were seen flying from Maheshlla in South 24 Parganas district at the end of Monday. They were hovering over the Hastings area, the second Hooghly Bridge (Vidyasagar Setu) and Fort William (Eastern Command Headquarters of the Army).”He said that items like drone were also seen in the park circus area in the eastern part of the metropolis before disappearing.He said that the Department of Special Task Force (STF) and Kolkata Police have already started an investigation.
