J&K: Army soldiers started anti -terrorism operation in Kishtwar; Exchange of gunfire. Bharat News

New Delhi: There was an encounter between security forces and militants on Sunday in the installment area of Jammu and Kashmir. “Causing Indian Army soldiers carry out an intelligence -based operation and established contact with terrorists in the normal area of Kishtwar in the early hours of August 10, 2025,” White Knight Corps said in a post on X. Confirming the presence of terrorists further, “Gunfire was exchanged. Operation under progress.”After obtaining specific intelligence about the presence of terrorists, security forces began a search operation in the dole region of the hill district. On facing the search teams, the terrorists, projected to be in two numbers, began firing, resulting in a gun battle, quoting the authorities.The encounter took place just a day after the tragic loss of two soldiers, Lance Naik Pritpal Singh and Sapoy Harminder Singh, who were killed bravely in an operation in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
