Jagdeep Dhankhar left as Vice President: What did he say in the Rajya Sabha today; Judge impeachment, cash under seat. Bharat News

NEW Delhi: Jagdeep Dhikar resigned on Monday citing health reasons as Vice President and said that he decided to “give priority to health care” and “to work on medical advice.,The announcement was made a few hours later after Dhankhar, who also worked as the President of the Rajya Sabha, addressed the House and raised several serious issues, including impeachment motion against High Court Judge Yashwant Verma and an incidence of unclaimed cash found under one seat in the House. In a detailed statement, Dhankhar informed the members that he received a proposal to remove the High Court Judge Yashwant Verma under Article 217 (1) (B), with Article 218 of the Constitution and Article 218 of the Constitution and Section 3 of the Judges (Inquiry) Act, 1968. “It is signed by more than 50 members of the council of the states and thus fulfills the numerical requirement,” he said.
Explaining the technical procedure involved in such cases, Dhankhar has presented such movements in one or both houses of Parliament in a single day. “If the speed is presented in two houses on different dates, the proposal that is first presented in the house that is first taken into consideration and the second proposal becomes non -jermic,” he said. He directed the Secretary-General to verify whether a similar speed was transferred to the Lok Sabha. The Law Minister present in the House confirmed that more than 100 members had submitted such a resolution there.Dhankhar also mentioned a pre -speed from December, in which another judge of Allahabad High Court Shekhar Yadav was told, PTI said. He said that the speed was initially signed by 55 members, but an investigation revealed that an MP had signed twice, causing a total of valid count to 54. “The result was that the representation, the proposal indicated that 55 members were demanding a removal. But it was not really 55, it was only 54,” he said. He said that the process of verifying signature and certification is still going on.He said that an MP, whose signature appeared twice, signed motion more than once. “If a proposal signs two of the same member and the honorable member said that he has not signed two places, but he has signed only one place, the matter becomes serious and guilty,” Dhankhar said, while emphasizing the need for Parliament to maintain transparent and integrity. He said, “This August house has to determine very high standards. If we do not meet the highest expectations of the people, we will put things under the carpet and will not subdue them to deep investigation,” he said.In a shocking revelation, Dhankhar said that “a bundle of 500 notes was found on seat number 222.” He said, “Whatever is more surprising and deeply related to, is not that a pad of notes was found, but no one owe it. No one has claimed this. This is quite serious. He said that the matter will be sent to the floor leaders for further discussion and direction.Reacting to Dhankhar’s resignation, senior advocate and Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal said, “I wish him healthy, because I am sad, because I have very good relationships with him. I have known them for 30-40 years. We have been added to each other. We have seen in matters against each other. There is a bonomi among us which is quite unique. I always respected him, and he always respected me. He has been on some of our family occasions, and I am sad and I hope he is healthy and he has a long, long life, and I wish him all the best. In relation to our political views, or regarding opinion, we may have differences, but at the individual level, we had a very strong bond. Whenever I need time to speak in the House, I personally met him in their room, and they never refused me, and gave me a little more time, otherwise available to independent members of Parliament. ,Also read Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned as Vice President: What happens next?
