Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan once again found herself in Auds with Paprazi, this time in a gathering of a serious family. On Tuesday, he attended the prayer meeting of late filmmaker Rono Mukherjee at Mukherjee Niwas in Mumbai, where many members of Bollywood’s most respected film families came together to pay their honors.Rono Mukherjee, known for directing films like Havan (1977) and Tu Hi Meri Zindagi (1965), died on May 28 after a cardiac arrest. He was the eldest of his 80s and the famous Mukherjee brothers. He died a few months after his brother Deb Mukherjee’s death.While the atmosphere remained very much in the prayer meeting, an unexpected moment came when Jaya Bachchan, his daughter Shweta Bachchan, was leaving the site with Nanda.
