Jammu: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has rejected a suspended employee of the Water Power Public Health Engineering (PHE) department from service to their participation in an intoxicating substance.Shabir Hussain was nominated in an FIR under the NDPS Act for possession of 4-6 grams such as a heroin, acting as a pH Khalsi in Poonach. He was sent to judicial custody from 14 September to 28 October last year.“Hussain has also been disqualified from the government with any future employment,” reads the order issued by the department.
