Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police Has identified 200 Social media handle Operated from within and from outside the country, which includes it Fancifulness And the glory of terrorism.

Police said many social media accounts, fundamentalism and glory of terrorists have been blocked, and legal action has been initiated against major campaigners, in which several FIRs have been lodged under relevant criminal laws.
Many people affected by online publicity have been advised and handed back to their families as part of a de-redressal initiative, the police further informed, but did not specify the number of such people.
Last month, Jammu and Kashmir Police booked six people in Budgam district to create fake accounts and share materials that glory of terrorism. Police said they are committed to the protection of “national security in both physical and digital places”, and remain a tight vigilance on social media.
For government employees, Jammu and Kashmir is already a social media policy, which prevents them from engaging in any form of public criticism of government policies or functions. It also determines that Govt employees should avoid making any statement or expressing opinion that may be “potentially threatened” with the Center or any other state/UT.
