Jammu: J&K police on Saturday discovered several discovers a day after a similar raid in the neighboring Doda of the Pakistan-based terrorists and alleged colleagues in Jammu’s installments.Saturday’s discoveries included 26 houses, including Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Mohammad Amin Bhat aka “Jahangir Saruri”, the authorities described the action as part of a large clamp on the terrorist ecosystem in the installment.Officials said the terrorists whose houses were targeted are working from Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and smuggling arms and ammunition from across the border.On Friday, raids were conducted in Chenb area of Doda district directed by terrorists in Pakistan at 15 places, as part of Clampdown.An official said, “The discoveries in Doda’s Bhadarwah, Gandoh, Thihri and Kastigrain areas were to intensify the rift after terrorist activities in the district from across the border. Many people in Pakistan are helping foreign terrorists by providing logistic and other assistance through their contact here,” an official said.Separately, the police have initiated the process of attaching the qualities of 36 terrorists, which are having a tender and located in Pakistan or Poke. Officials said they were declared “declared criminals” in January last year.
