On 1 October 2021, a prisoner named Uthman, who was out on parole, allegedly attacked with a group of about 20 people. A police case was registered after Bashir’s complaint regarding the attack.The complaint also stated that Bashir submitted a parole report against Uthaman. After the incident, the accused and his supporters broadcast the previous photographs to discredit him and paint him negatively.According to Sajita’s letter, her husband was targeted and later shifted to Kothuparamba station as a result of this ongoing pressure.Bashir also claimed to be an officer of media ID card from the Gulf-based online portal, which he entered the press conference.
