Belagavi: In a new shock for the Congress government of Karnataka, which is struggling with dissatisfaction, senior Karnataka MLA Raju Cage on Monday accused him of administrative collapse and threatened to resign on development works in his constituency in Belagavi district.Cage claimed that his exam partner was more serious than Congress MLA Bre Patil, who recently allocated alleged houses against bribery under government schemes and that MLAs were kept away from decision making. “I can resign from the party in the next two days after meeting CM Siddaramaiah,” Cage said, who represents Kagawad. “Special grant has been issued to my constituency. Even after an allocation of Rs 25 crore for development works two years ago, not a single work order has been issued. The people of my constituency are cursing me. ,BJP seized Patil and Cage’s statements as “proof” of administrative failure and corruption in the state government. The Cage, who is the head of the North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation, told reporters in Annapur near Athani in the district that the system was relaxed, in which no officer was working. He said, “If work orders are not issued even after the release of money, what does it mean,” he said.
