Kharge says, BJP, RSS wants to re -write the constitution, but cannot destroy it; Adani accuses the Modi government of selling Ambani to the public sector; Slam center over GST arrears, Manipur crisis | Bharat News

Congress President Mallikrajun Kharge on Saturday accused the BJP and the RSS of wishing to re -write the Constitution of India, claiming how many efforts they try, “the Constitution cannot be destroyed.”Speaking at a mega convention organized by the Government of Karnataka, Kharge said, “Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar is the architect of our Constitution, not Modi, not an RSS. If the constitution weakens, you (BJP) will end. Congress has always worked again for economic power and social justice.”Kharge alleged that the BJP-led center was “selling” to the corporates of the Nehru-era, the public sector enterprises to the corporates. He said, “The BJP is selling factories that appoint millions of workers to Adani and Ambani,” he said that institutions like BHL and HMT were established during Nehru’s time to strengthen India’s public sector.Kharge said, “But what has Modi or his followers contribute to Massuru or Karnataka? They only appear on TV from morning to night. In the past, the Prime Minister was not constantly on screen, was making a vacant speech,” Kharge said.He accused the Modi government of ignoring the needs of states like Karnataka and Manipur. Kharge said, “Where is the GST money of Karnataka? The center returns only 4%, which we deserve only 4%,”Kharge also targeted the Chief Ministers of the BJP, alleging that he has “no voice” under PM Modi. He said, “Conversely, our CMS, Deputy CMS, MLA – are engaged to all people. Our party workers are on the ground, provide guarantee and real progress,” he said.Kharge said, “We fulfill our guarantee, unlike BJP, whose promises have failed in Karnataka, Telangana and Himachal. Even Modi’s trips do not change.”He said that the Congress stands for development, justice and accountability, while the BJP “only talks, sells public property, and ignores the victims.”
