Kolkata Gangrep: The accused drank liquor in college for hours after the attack; Warned to keep quiet. Bharat News

New Delhi: On June 25, the three people accused of gang -raping a student inside the South Calcutta Law College spent several hours in the guard room of the institute after committing the crime. Along with Prime accused, monarchy Mishra, Pratik Mukherjee and Zab Ahmed, even the security guard of the college warned to remain silent before going out for dinner.An investigating officer told the news agency PTI, “After committing the crime, the three consumed liquor in the guard’s room and then the security guard Pinaki Banerjee asked to keep his mouth shut about the incident.”Police said the three later went to a spot with EM bypass for dinner before returning to their homes the next morning.Investigators believe that gangrape was not an easy task, but a planned attack. According to the official, the call detail records (CDRS) revealed several conversations between the accused in the leading days of the incident.The investigation further revealed that Monjun tried to seek help the next day. On 26 June, he contacted an “influential” person at Deshpriya Park, someone who allegedly helped him in the past. However, the person refused to help this time, realizing the gravity of the situation, the officer said.After stunning, Monjan allegedly tried to reach many of his so -called “masters” in various regions of the city. “In various parts of the monsted city, Rushbehri, Deshpriya Park, Garhat, Fern Road and Balliganj station road were trying to meet their masters. Mobile tower data also indicated that they saw someone near the police station.”Police say that after the crime, Monojat’s actions suggest that he was trying to help him escape or hide the case.Security guard Pinaki Banerjee has also been arrested, and has come under investigation for laps in college security and inspection. The case is being investigated by a special investigation team constituted by Kolkata Police.The incident expressed protests and displeasure throughout the city.
