New Delhi: Studies conducted by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) have not found any direct connection between covid-19 vaccination and sudden unexpected deaths in the country.According to a press release by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, various national agencies investigated the matter and concluded that the Kovid -19 vaccines used in India are safe and effective.Severe side effects are extremely rare, and sudden heart deaths can result in factors such as genetics, lifestyle, pre-existing conditions and post-coved complications.To better understand the causes of sudden deaths, especially among young adults between the ages of 18 to 45, ICMR and NCDC conducted two studies using various research methods.First, a multi-layered matching case-control study is titled, “In India, the factors associated with sudden sudden death among adults aged 18-45 years of age,”, Was operated by the National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE) of ICMR.It took place in 47 tertiary hospitals in 19 states and center areas between May and August 2023. It investigated people who appeared healthy, but suddenly died between October 2021 and March 2023. Conclusions confirmed that Covid-19 vaccination does not increase the risk of such deaths.Second study, “Suddenly unnecessary deaths in youth, is being funded by AIIMS, New Delhi in collaboration with ICMR. The purpose of this possible study is to identify the common causes of sudden deaths in young adults. Initial data shows that myocardial infarctions remain the main reason. Genetic mutation has also been identified as a potential factor in many cases. No significant changes have been observed in the pattern of causes compared to previous years. The end results will be shared when the study is completed.Together, two studies provide a clear understanding of sudden deaths in young adults and confirm that Covid-19 does not increase the vaccination risk. Instead, contributing to the underlying health issues, genetic tendency and risky lifestyle option factors.Scientific experts have warned against connecting Covid-19 vaccines with sudden deaths, such claims are said to be misleading and inability to evidence. He insisted that wrong information vaccine can hesitate and harm public health efforts.The press release states that the Government of India is committed to evidence-based public health research to protect the good of citizens.
