Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) celebrated its first Indian Premier League (IPL) title victory at a Felicitation event organized by the Karnataka State Cricket Association at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday. Star batter Virat Kohli praised the leadership of captain Rajat Patidar and the loyal fan of the team during the ceremony.“This is nobody else EE Sala Cup name day (this year will be ours), but EE Sala Cup name Du (this year is ours).Kohli also revealed that during the RCB Anbox event, where the team’s New Jersey and captain were unveiled, he predicted the long -term leadership capacity of the Patidar. He said, “Let him cheer the most loud, as he has proved himself as a captain in his first season.”Patidar scored 312 runs in 14 matches on an average of 24.00, including two fifties, performing effective strategic decisions and bowler rotation throughout the season.Kohli emerged as the major run-scorer of the franchise and finished third in 15 matches in the tournament with 657 runs, on an average 54.75 and a strike rate over 144, including eight fifty.

PBKS’s chase began firmly with Priyash Arya (24 in 19 balls) and Prabhasimran (26 in 22 balls) with a 43 -run partnership.Josh Iglis (39 in 23 balls) and Shashank Singh (61– 30 balls) worked hard to live with the required rate, but Krunal Pandya (2/17), Yash Dayal (1/18), and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2/38) banned PBKS till 184/7.Despite Shashank Singh’s impressive 22 -run final of 22 runs, when 29 was needed, PBK fell in his second final and first in 11 years, while RCB won its first IPL title.
