‘Lucky Charm’: How a Ukrainian designer styled Zelansky for a trump meeting; Black suit gives subtle details

Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelansky on Monday with US President Donald Trump once again separated a traditional suit during his White House meeting, instead selected a sophisticated version of his signature military style dress. The outfit designed by Ukrainian designer Victor Anisimov featured a black suit with a microscopic black vent, a description that brought it closer to the citizen, while Zelanceski, while maintaining the aesthetics of the time of war, is favored by Zelancesi throughout the struggle.“These are our expectations for peace,” Anisimov was called by Reuters. “We feel that if we add some subtle to this image, from civilian clothes to its uniform, it will be like a lucky attraction.”Trump praised Zelansky’s low formal suit as he arrived at the White House on the Russian-Ukraine War at the White House on Monday for a notable change from his stressful February meeting. Earlier this year, however, an American journalist questioned the choice of Zelanceci’s dress during his meeting with Trump and American Vice President JD Wance.61 -year -old Anisimov of Ukraine’s northern Chernhivi region said that while watching videos of the exchange, he felt that the comment was fully directed not only on Zelansky but also among the Ukrainian people. Anisimov said as quoted by Reuters, “There was a little sense of despair because they do not understand how we breathe, how we live.”Zelansky has worn Anisimov’s designs in major moments, including Pope Francis’ funeral in April and NATO Summit in June.Anisimov said, “I can’t say that we have specially sewed (a suit) for the NATO summit or for a significant conversation with Trump and European leaders. The suit is just a suit.” He said that Zelansky has about five identical looking jackets, which only have small tweaks. The White House reporter, Brian Glenn, who asked Zelanski in February why he did not wear a suit, praised his outfit on Monday, saying, “You look great in that suit”.Anisimov said that he was not focusing on criticism or compliments this time, but to ensure that Ukrainian President appeared dignified. He said, “They praise, they scold them. If we win, and we will win, whose suit does not matter,” he said“We had already started working on the new wardrobe and style of the President in January. After what happened in February, knowing our President’s principles, I thought he would not want to change his style. But no, he decided that we should continue, ”Anisimov was said by the woman daily.“It’s not about the suit, it is about what happens to Ukraine,” Anisimov said. This was not the first time Anisimov was tasked to re -shape the President’s style. In the early 2000s, when Zelanceski was still a comedian, Anisimov helped designing the Ukrainian President and his crew wardrobe. Zelancesi pledged in 2022 that he would not return to wear a suit and would tie or shave his beard until Ukraine wins the war according to the Financial Times.
