After his conversation with Lula, PM Modi wrote in a post on X that a strong, people-focused partnership between the global South nations serves everyone’s interests.Both countries have been killed with 50 percent of American tariffs. Lula has said that Brazil will not respond to 50 percent of the tariff of Trump with mutual measures on its goods, but will detect the possibility of a coordinated response with its BRICS partners.The Ministry of External Affairs called Tariff Hike “unfair, inappropriate and unfair”, saying that India’s imports are directed by market factors and its 1.4 billion energy security requirements.Putin is set to meet US President Donald Trump in Alaska on Friday, August 15 for a peace deal to end the war in Ukraine.
