Malta will host the eighth Commonwealth Youth Games at the end of 2027, which will feature over 1,000 athletes in 74-18 countries in 74 countries and competing in eight games, including two debut sports – saleing and water polo, Commonwealth Sport on Thursday.The multi-sport event will be in the islands of Malta and Gozo, which will use existing world class features systematic in four main groups. We are ready to be on the beautiful island of Malta in 2027.”The selection of Malta reflects the Commonwealth Games commitment to bring youth games in young countries, especially small and island countries.Commonwealth Sport will participate in about 1,150 athletes of sports in 74 countries and regions.The exact dates for the 2027 Games have not yet been announced by the Commonwealth Sport.India had earlier hosted the third edition of the Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune in 2008.
