Manoj Kumar dies in 87: PM Modi ‘deeply sad’ by the actor’s passing; Share throbac pics of your time together.

Veteran actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar was revered for his patriotic films and is known as ‘Bharat Kumar’ at the age of 87 on Friday.
Following the news of his death, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Kumar a “icon of Indian cinema”. Sharing the throbac photos of his time together on his official social media handle, the PM paid tribute, posted an old picture sitting with Kumar at a rally, with another recent image of his meeting. In his heartiest message, he wrote, “Unhappy with the passage of mythological actor and filmmaker Mr. Manoj Kumar ji. He was an icon of Indian cinema, especially remembered for his patriotism, which was also reflected in his films. Shanti.”
Filmmaker Ashok Pandit confirmed the report of the death of an experienced actor. In a video message posted on Annie, he said that he said, “It is sad to tell all of you that the great Dadasaheb Phalke Award winner, our inspiration, the Indian film industry’s doctor, Mr. Manoj Kumarji are not more. He breathed his last in Kokilaben Hospital, and not much for the Heries.
He said, “We all ever met him. He was always full of life, he was always happy, and the whole industry would remember him. A great soul like him, a great creator like him, will never be in our industry. Goodbye Manji, goodbye.”
Kumar, who is known for his contribution to Indian cinema through films like Shaheed (1965), Cess (1967), Purba and Paschim (1970), and Roti Capada and House (1974), left an indelible mark with his patriotism.
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award has been paid tribute to the film industry and political circles, honoring the heritage of the winner legend.
