Petition flags payment to CM daughter without service for Rs 1.7 crore. Bharat News

Kochi: Kerala HC on Wednesday issued notice to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his daughter T Veena, and others in a pilot. Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited And Veena’s firm Exalogic Solutions Pvt Ltd. The next hearing is scheduled on 27 May.
Before accepting the petition, the HC Division Bench of Judges Amit Rawal and PM Manoj directed the Central Government to present them in a seal cover in a list of people nominated in the order of the Income Tax Department related to the transactions related to Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL).
The petition was filed by senior journalist Mr. Ajayan, who also sought an inquiry into the alleged political relations between companies and CM Pinarayi Vijayan. Ajayan’s petition depends on the findings by the Interim Settlement Board, stating that the CM’s dugter Veena was paid more than Rs 1.7 crore between 2017-18 and 2019-20.
A CMRL official had reportedly told the board that no service was provided by Exalogic despite payment.
Additional Solicitor General Earl Sundarson informed the Kerala High Court that the Serious Fraud Investigation Office has completed its investigation and submitted a report to the Special Court, which has already taken cognizance of the crime. The Division Bench said that a single bench had issued an interim order in which the status quo was maintained in the relevant case.
