New Delhi: In another revelation in the case of Raju Raghuvanshi murder case, Eastern Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, Vivek Simim has revealed important details about the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, labeled Raj Kushwaha as a mastermind that it was a favor by other people and was not killing the contract. In this case, who has held the region, has taken a new twist with the identity of the mastermind behind the heinous act. According to SP Simm, Raj Kushwaha played an important role in the execution of the plan with Sonam, Raja’s wife. He said, “Its mastermind is Raj Kushwaha. Sonam played with the scheme.”The plot consisted of three persons, including Raj’s cousin, who were not killers, but a friend who was doing a favor for Kushwaha. He said, “Three people involved are friends and one of them is Raj’s cousin. It was not a contract to kill. He did it as a favor for his friend,” he said.Talking about the plan behind the murder further, he further said, “Since February, when they were in Indore, they were planning how Sonam would disappear … When Raja and Sonam got married, they came to Kamakhya Devi temple. The other four people came here a few days ago. They planned to finish the king in the cavity.On June 2, the body of King Raghuvanshi was recovered from a deep gorge near a waterfall in Sohra (Cherrapunji), Eastern Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya. Raja and his wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, went missing after marrying on May 11, on their honeymoon in the state on 23 May. The examination revealed that the king retained severe head injuries, and the authorities later recovered a blood-edged weapon from the scene. Sonam surrendered to the police on 8 June in Gazipur district, Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, four other accused persons including Kushwaha were arrested from various places in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. A special investigation team (SIT) by the Meghalaya Police is investigating the murder case.
