Launched as a pilot project for Delhi, the new system will automatically convert NCRP or cyber financial offenses filed in 1930 into FIRs, initially above the threshold limit of Rs 10 lakh. The new system, which will run a rapid investigation, will soon expand through the cyber criminal, expanding across the country. The Modi government is increasing the cyber security grid to create a cyber-score India, “said the Home Minister.On Monday, the Home Minister inaugurated India’s revived foreign national (OCI) portal- an initiative important in modernizing civil services for Indian migrants. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), a revised portal has been developed in response to rapid technological progress in the last decade and has a response from the existing OCI card holders about issues with the previous system.The OCI card is issued to people of Indian origin who have citizenship of another country, allowing them to travel lifelong visa-free travel and some economic and educational rights in India. The demand for better digital services and more responsible systems has increased in years due to increasing number of OCI card holders globally.
