His statement came after the Islamic Republic launched a missile strike at the US airport at Qatar. The attack was in vengeance of the US strike at three nuclear sites in Iran on Sunday, which was amid the later struggle with American ally Israel.
Shortly before the announcement, President Donald Trump had a statement that Israel and Iran had accepted an American-proposed ceasefire agreement to end the conflict between Asian rivals.Reacting to Trump’s announcement, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said there is “no compromise” at the end of military operations. However, he said that the American proposal would be accepted, provided that Israel “did not” do “illegal aggression not after 4AM Tehran time”.
