Mr. Thanedar is an American businessman and politician who has been serving as an American representative of the 13th Congress district of Michigan since 2023. He has written two autobiography: One in Marathi (2004) and The Blue Suitcase in English (2008). Thadeer lost his first wife Shamal to commit suicide in 1996; They have two sons, Neil and Sameer. He married Shashi in 1999 and lives in Detroit.
