Murder inside SAKET COURT Lockup: Prisoners killed by two other people; Old enmity suspicious Bharat News
New Delhi: On Thursday, a prisoner died by two other prisoners inside the Saket Court lockup. The prisoner, identified as Aman, was recorded in Tihar Jail No. 8 along with two other people who killed him. According to Delhi Police, the incident occurred after bringing him to court for court proceedings.Delhi Police said in a statement, “On June 5, an incident of attacking in Kharja number 5 Saket court lockup took place. An Aman was brought before the court to lock-up for production.” At the time of the incident, a lot of undertrier prisoners (UTPs), including the deceased Aman, were present inside the lockup. Old enmity suspectedThe statement said, “Two Uuts Jetnder and Jaidev attacked the victim. Jitendra and Aman’s attack had an old enmity between them that took place in 2024 when both of them were outside the jail. Aman allegedly attacked Jetnder and her brother with a knife in the incident.”
