New Delhi: Supreme Court pulled Madhya Pradesh on Thursday Minister Vijay Shah for his “non -individual” comments on Colonel Sophia Qureshi.A bench of CJI br Gavai and Justice AG Masih reminded Shah that a person holding a constitutional post should practice restraint, especially when the country is facing a situation like Operation Sindoor.The apex court criticized Shah, who sought an HC order for an FIR for his irresponsible comments, and asked why he could not go to the High Court.“What kind of statements are you making?” The apex court insisted on Shah.Minister’s lawyer Vibha Mabija said that the minister’s remarks have been more hypnotized and have apologized.This comes a day later in the order of the word by the Madhya Pradesh High Court, directed the DGP of the state to immediately file an FIR against Shah under several provisions of the Indian Justice (BNS), warning that there will be contempt proceedings as a result of failure to comply.The FIR is to be filed under BNS section 152 (threatening the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India), 196 (1) (b) (promoting enmity on the basis of religion), and 197 (a) (C) (Angered the humility or character of a woman through speech).Shah created a major controversy with the comments, which appeared directed in Colonel Qureshi. In a video that has gone viral, the BJP leader is seen saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a “terrorist sister from his community” to kill him.This condemned a widespread scale, the opposition Congress demanded immediate dismissal from the Madhya Pradesh cabinet. Under the Gambhir Flack, Shah said that if someone was hurt by his statement, he is “ready to apologize 10 times,” saying that he respects Colonel Qureshi “as much as I respect my sister.”Colonel Qureshi held regular press briefing, where he joined by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, to give details of the “Operation Sindoor” launched by the Indian armed forces to attack terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan-Quiz Kashmir.
