Bangladesh Cricket The Board (BCB) confirmed that Hussain has met all the requirements of his approval, including a compulsory anti-corruption education session, making him eligible to play official cricket again by 7 April, 2025.
BCB said, “According to the conditions of approval, Nasir Hussain has now met all the requirements, including completing the compulsory anti-corruption education session. It has paved the way for his eligibility to re-enter the official cricket by 7 April, 2025.”

Hussain, who represented Bangladesh in 19 tests, 65 Odis and 31 T20I between 2011 and 2018, was banned after being found guilty of three allegations related to his involvement with Pune Devils franchise in the T10 league in September 2023.
The allegations include a failure to disclose a gift of US $ 750 (a new iPhone 12), not reporting an approach to engage in corrupt conduct through the iPhone, and not to cooperate in the investigation of the anti -corruption officer.
Six months of his two -year ban was suspended.
