Neeraj Chopra Doha Diamond League 2025 Live Update: Neeraj Chopra led four -member Indian team

Doha Diamond League 2025 Live Update: Nerj Chopra, World Jewelin Champion and Olympic Gold Medal winner, to record a four -member Indian team in the 2025 Doha Diamond League, will be set at the Qatar Sports Club today.

The event is the second competitive outing of Chopra this year after a season-opening victory at the Potch Invitational Meet in South Africa, where he threw 84.52 meters. Chopra, which has lost the previous year’s Doha leg from one centimeter for Anderson Peters of Granada, will aim to recover the title and possibly break the elusive 90-meter obstruction-his individual best 89.94 m.

Kishore Jena, Hangzo 2023 will be the silver medalist by joining Chopra in men’s spear. Jena will see to improve her ninth position at the beginning of her Diamond League in Doha last year.

In track events, National Record holder Parul Chaudhary will compete in women’s 3000 meter steeplechez, which will aim to improve the start of its 16th -ranked Diamond League in Eugene. Inaugurating its Diamond League, India’s 5000 meter national record holder (13: 11.82), who enters the men’s 5000 meters, is Gulver Singh.

It marks India’s greatest participation at the same Diamond League meeting, which shows the growing presence of the country on the platform of global athletics in both region and track events.
