Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath paid the courtesy visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday in New Delhi. Referring to the same, the Home Minister’s Office wrote on X, “Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. @myogiadityanath met Union Home Minister @AmitShah.” CM Yogi also shared a post on X about his visit. The Chief Minister wrote, “Today I had a courtesy call on the honorable Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation in New Delhi, Mr. @AmitShah Ji. Thank you very much for providing my valuable time!”Earlier on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the farmers’ Saman Samaroh at Auraiya, highlighting the government’s efforts to support the farmers.He emphasized that farmers have become an important part of the government’s political agenda for the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi since 2014.Adityanath conducted an aerial survey of maize crop on the way from Lucknow to Auraiya.Addressing the farmer Saman Samaroh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “You must have seen for the first time in 2014 that the farmer providing food can also be a part of a government’s political agenda, when PM Modi launched the soil health card scheme.”He highlighted the various initiatives of the Central Government to secure the future – soil health card scheme of farmers; Prime Minister’s Agricultural Irrigation Scheme; The Prime Minister’s Agricultural Insurance Scheme against the failures of the crop and the Prime Minister’s Kisan Saman Nidi Yojana, 12 crore farmers get nationwide benefits, get financial assistance.“After the soil health card, the Prime Minister’s Agricultural Irrigation Scheme and then the Prime Minister’s Agricultural Bima Yojana were implemented and the Prime Minister’s Kisan Saman Rahati Yojana was implemented,” said the UP CM.The efforts of the government have shown positive results, in which the PM Kisan Saman Nidhi is emerging as the world’s largest direct profit transfer scheme. More than Rs 3.25 lakh crore has been transferred to farmers’ bank accounts, which has benefited millions of farmers.He said, “12 crore farmers in the country benefit from the Prime Minister’s Kisan Saman Nidi Yojana. This double-engine government is also working towards making the future of its farmers beautiful and safe in the state. When our government came in 2017, farmers were committing suicide. There were no facilities anywhere.”Yogi Adityanath also said that in 2017, the government implemented a loan exemption program of Rs 36,000 crore for 86 lakh farmers.“In 2017, when we came, first of all, we carried forward a loan waiver program of Rs 36000 crore for 86 lakh farmers, and after loan waiver, we resorted to the Prime Minister’s Agricultural Irrigation Scheme to develop irrigation capacity in the state,” said the UP CM.
