‘New General’ for Congress? Praise Shashi Tharoor for PM Modi’s policies | Bharat News

New Delhi: Has Shashi Tharoor set “new general” for Congress Post India’s “Operation Sindoor”? Well, it seems. The Thiruvananthapuram MP Pahgam has been uneven and unwavering in praise of the steps taken by the Narendra Modi government against Pakistan after the terrorist attack. At the same time, BJP leaders have cited the strong defense of Tharoor’s government and embarrassed the opposition including the Congress. While the Congress has praised the success of “Operation Sindoor” on the armed forces, it has questioned the Modi government’s decision to declare a sudden ceasefire, the irony is that the first time was announced by US President Donald Trump. Announcing the ceasefire, Trump also claimed that India and Pakistan had agreed to interact at a neutral site. Later, Trump claimed, not once but twice, that he used a business deal to force India and Pakistan to agree to the ceasefire. While India did not publicly respond to Trump’s claim, the Ministry of External Affairs made it clear that trade was never a part of any discussion with the US. India also clearly declared that it was Islamabad, which on May 10, after attacking by our armed forces, contacted us for a ceasefire which destroyed many aerial status in Pakistan. The Congress raised difficult questions for Prime Minister Modi in the light of these American claims. Senior Congress leader Jayer Ramesh said: “The Prime Minister has not spoken a word on the claims made by President Trump a few minutes before his address to the nation. Has India accepted America’s arbitration? Has India agreed to interact with Pakistan at a neutral site? Will India now accept American demand to open markets, agriculture and other sectors?” Other opposition leaders also targeted the government on American claims of playing mediator.

Do you believe that India’s attitude for struggle with Pakistan has changed under Modi’s government?

However, Shashi Tharoor strongly defended the Modi government and wanted to take credit to the US President for doing something to a politician. ” Tharoor also justified India’s decision to agree to the ceasefire.Tahrur said in his first barrifice on the ceasefire, “Peace is necessary. I am very happy. India never wanted a long -term war. India wanted to teach a lesson to terrorists, I believe the lesson has been taught. Other details are awaited,” Tharoor said in its first repetition on the ceasefire. For the claims of US President Trump, Tharoor gave a sharp befitting reply.“I see it as a special politician who wants to take credit for something and I can see that the Government of India probably said that ‘if they want to give them credit’, but from our perspective we have made it clear that Shanti has made it clear that Shanti requested the DGMO of Pakistan, who did not say their Indian opposition at 3:35 pm (Saturday) and we never want to say that we never wanted.”Explaining that he was speaking as a personal MP, Tharoor said that he did not like Trump’s social media posts on the issue.“You are making an equal to the victim and a criminal, which is really shocking. It is completely wrong that this is the result that this India is going to give any kind of conversation to Pakistan. We will never interact to interact with a gun, which is to fulfill a terrorist attack for Pahalia.”“I don’t think Shri Trump should be inherent in any way, size or form that the Kashmiri dispute is internationalized by American partnership. We do not even accept that that nature is a dispute, Kashmir is an integral part of India … We are not interested in international interaction,” he said.Earlier, Tharoor was also frightening in his praise for “Operation Sindoor” and said: “The operation was well calibrated, well calculated, and effectively executed. I am very impressed, how it was presented by the name of the operation, how it was presented to the world. Can’t allow us to believe that they could kill our country, and we could kill our country, and we could not kill our country, and the blind action on our parts could kill us. Could have provoked the cost of the world’s sympathy. “The Congress MP also praised the government’s message on this issue: “We are doing all the right things till now. The nature of Operation Sindoor was correct. The message of the press conference in which the Foreign Secretary, a Kashmiri Pandit, he was floated on both sides by the female authorities, which was a story as a story like a Muslim. Send a very good message.” And when some Congress leaders talked about the 1971 war and the role of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Tharoor gave this message to his party leaders.“Today’s Pakistan is a different situation. Their military equipment and the harm they can do are different. Bangladesh was actually fighting for people to bring people into freedom and liberation. While Tharoor praised the functions of the Modi government against Pakistan, he did not hesitate to slam the BJP when the Safron Party criticized the previous UPA government and excluded a social media post and said “petty efforts to divide us politically are disappointing”.Tagging the BJP’s post on X, Tharoor said, “This is a Paytm attempt to divide us politically,” at a time when the nation is united as Indians. Our government has learned the futile of the past view after inviting Pakistan to participate in the investigation of the pathkot blasts in 2016. Throor, a prominent opposition leader, gave the BJP sufficient to target the government’s critics and accuse the Congress of playing politics.“I am really surprised that the Congress is not hearing what Shashi Tharoor is saying. She is a senior Congress leader and is very clear that let anyone take credit for it, but India decided to understand this with Pakistan. We did not want war. It was based on our terms and conditions. But you (Congress) want to politicize everything.”Tharoor has been in Loggerheads with the Congress on his praise for PM Modi and his policies. When Tharoor first praised Prime Minister Modi for his American visit and then appreciated India’s role under the PM in the Russia-Ukraine War, the Congress reacted very fast to his comment. Congress President Mallikrajun Kharge then emphasized discipline and strictly warned the state leaders that strong action would be taken against those who made the comments against the interests of the party. The Congress has not officially reacted to Tharoor’s statements, but Jayer Ramesh has made it clear that “When Mr. Tharoor speaks, it does not reflect the party’s views.” Party sources say that Tharoor has crossed the ‘Laxman Rekha’ with his repeated comments on the India-Pakistan struggle.(With input from agencies)
