New warning for green card holders in America: Always take it with you all the time, CBP reminds

The CBP issued a reminder to the green card holders and always asked them to take the document with them.

Customs and Border Police issued an important reminder to all green card holders that they would have to be transported by law at all times with evidence of their foreign registration. “Failing to do so may cause a rape and fine if you are stopped by federal law enforcement,” said the reminder issued on Wednesday. This is not a new law and non-citizens always need to take proof of their legal status in the US, but the reminder of the Trump administration shows that the green card holders, the legitimate permanent permanent residents continue to take action, and just because they are legally living in the country, it does not mean that they will not be punished. The State Department had earlier made it clear that permanent residents could also be deported if they are found flowing in laws.
