New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) refused media reports on Saturday, stating that his team on Friday raided McLeodganj, Himachal Pradesh regarding the security of the Dalai Lama or any Khalistani terror funding case.In a sharp explanation, the NIA stated that the discovery made in McLeodganj on Friday was completely related to the ongoing investigation in the case of a human trafficking, which the ‘US Donki Marg’ Network said, a method that is illegally used to send people to the United States through many countries.The agency said in a statement, “The discovery had no connection with the HH Dalai Lama or any case related to Khalistani terrorists, and the opposite report in a part of the media is completely false.”Two more smugglers arrested in Friday’s raidEarlier, the NIA confirmed that two accused smugglers were arrested during the discoveries held simultaneously in Himachal Pradesh and Delhi. The accused were identified as Sunny alias Sunny Donkar, resident of Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh and Shubam Sandhal alias Deep Hundi, originally lived in Pirgaghari, Delhi, Ropper, Punjab. Both are allegedly close to Gagandip Singh alias Goldie, who is a prominent accused, who was first arrested in March this year.
