‘No Bangladeshi will dare to come to Parabhani’: Owasi has a slam to BJP on the border, intelligence claim | Bharat News

New Delhi: Taking a sharp swipe in the BJP -led central government, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owasi on Sunday dismissed allegations of illegal Bangladeshi attendance in Maharashtra and accused the Center of ignoring the increased security concerns with the eastern border.Addressing a public meeting in Parbhani, Owasi said, “They (BJP government) have BSF and intelligence agencies, but still claim that Bangladeshi has arrived here. No Bangladeshi will dare to come to Parbhani.”Their comment comes in response to the BJP leaders repeatedly that illegal migrants from Bangladesh have infiltrated various parts of India including Maharashtra.Owaisi also raised an alarm on Bangladesh’s recent military currency, accusing the Modi government of decency. “Since Muhammad Yunus came to power in Bangladesh, he has started doing military exercises with Pakistan,” he said. “Bangladesh is now building an airbase near the India border, but the BJP is not worried about it.”Hyderabad MP’s remarks shook the political chatter, as they associated the regional geopolitics with national security, alleging that the government was focusing on divisive rhetoric rather than real threats.Asaduddin Owaisi and his party, the All India Majlis-e-Itihadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), have been rapidly active in Maharashtra, often targets both BJP and Congress on issues related to minority rights, governance and national security. There has been no official response from BJP to Owissi’s statements so far.
