A 27 -year -old father of two, Julian Ryan, died in Texas trying to save his family during a disastrous flash flood, which has already claimed the lives of at least 50 people. As the flood waters increased their bedrooms, Ryan punched his family from a window to help his family flee, almost “clean” his arm. Ryan, along with her mother, her fiancé Christina Wilson, and a couple’s 6 -year -old and 13 -month -old baby were awakened at 4 am on Friday with the fast growing water of the Guadalup river. Reported by New York Post, the family tickled together in the bedroom of their trailer home in Ingram. Wilson told the local KHOU, “It just started putting in, and we had to fight the door to ensure that not too much was found to ensure that much.”In a few moments, the water was up to their waist, their front door was open and according to the New York Times, started pouring river water in their house. As the water level rises, the bedroom door was open, while their children were already on top of a floating mattress. In a mania, Ryan tried to punch a hole through the window in an attempt to escape. Ryan’s mother and fiancé said in a phone call for the New York Times that a sharp shard of glass had cut through her arm, causing him to shed bleeding deeply. He broke an artery in his hand, family members told KHOU. The water level was up to his chin as Ryan started losing consciousness due to heavy bleeding, and women repeatedly called 911, but received no response. “I am sorry, I am not going to make it. I love Y’All,” Ryan said. The water level continued to rise and his trailer burst into the house in half, and the family was able to escape for security, but without Ryan. Ryan’s body was recovered after hours after the water in Ker County. Wilson said, “He was the best father, and was always a happy person who was never above helping people, no matter what it was.” Ryan came home from a local restaurant after a long night innings, where he worked as a dishwasher.
