‘Not made cricket captain’, DY Commissioner-Rank IRS officer attacked Joint Commissioner

Lucknow: A day after a joint commissioner attacked the post, a Deputy Commissioner, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer accused the senior colleague of attacking the three -month -old dispute related to the departmental cricket match. An FIR was registered at Hazratganj police station in Lucknow on Friday during the incident, including a bid for allegedly strangling.Complainant Gaurav Garg – The 2016 -Bach IRS officer, posted at the Income Tax Office in Hazratganj, alleged that Joint Commissioner Yogendra Kumar Mishra, who was currently posted in Kashipur in Uttarakhand, entered the office on Thursday and started a violent and predetermined attack in the presence of senior officials.Garg said the dispute returned on February 13, when Mishra, then posted in Lucknow, allegedly emphasized on being appointed as captain of the departmental cricket team during a tournament. After refusing his request, Mishra allegedly threatened to disrupt the match by squat on the pitch.Garg alleged that Mishra continued to harass the team members on WhatsApp, such as sending a message, “I know about your sister’s relationship”, and “be careful, watching NCB.” He even threatened to put drugs to frame them, claiming Garg. More than a dozen complaints were reportedly filed, after which Mishra was transferred to Uttarakhand.The complainant alleged that Mishra came to the office on 29 May, where a departmental meeting was being planned to farewell for the outgoing Principal Chief Commissioner. According to the FIR, Mishra abused and canceled his transfer orders. He then picked up a glass tambler, printed water on Garg and tried to knife with a broken glass. When Garg tried to leave, Mishra allegedly grabbed him by the neck, choking him. “Then he punched me again and again, injuring my nose, lips and ear. He kicked me in the waist too,” Garg accused me. The police were informed and Garg was rushed to the hospital. He is under medical care, but submitted a written complaint to the police on Friday.
