New Delhi: Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Manaikarao Kokte rejected NCP (SP) Rohit Pawar’s claim that he was playing Rummi in the assembly, clarifying that it was a solitaire, an app said that he could have been downloaded by an employee, and really opened YouTube to check the low house proceedings.He said, “Rohit Power Rummi has become accustomed to playing. It was not Rummi, but solitaire on my phone. Some PA or OSD must have downloaded that game on my phone … I opened YouTube to see what was going on in the lower house,” he said.“How does he know what Rummi is? I don’t know what Rummi is. It was a solitaire game … 10 different types of advertisements come on YouTube … You have to see it for 30 seconds and you can’t even leave it.After sharing a video of Kokate, Pawar revealed this explanation, in which the minister showed a mobile game inside the assembly.“Since the nationalist groups in power cannot do anything without consulting the BJP, countless agricultural issues remain unresolved. Even eight farmers of the state have taken their lives daily, it seems that there is nothing to do with the Agriculture Minister, nothing to do, the frustrated petitions of the farmers demanding the crop to play these free ministers,” Pawar said in a post.Calling the video “embarrassing”, the Congress said, “These Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokk. In Maharashtra, about 8 farmers are taking their lives every day, and they are playing sports on their mobiles in the assembly. Farmers are being wasted with financial difficulty and increasing debt, but they have no concern or care.”
