The Trump administration reversed her decision to cancel the legal status of a four -year -old girl receiving life -saving treatment in the US.According to the Los Angle Times, a letter received on Monday said, “It is to advise you that on June 2, 2025, effective, you have been provided human parole for a period of one year.”Dedi class, her husband, and her daughter, who is identified as Sophia by lawyers, arrived in the US in search of medical care of a young girl in the US in 2023, suffering from a rare condition that requires special treatment. In April, the federal government abolished the family’s human parole and ordered them to “self-discovery”.Doctors warned that Sophia would probably die “within days” if forced to return to Mexico. His family and legal team challenged the order, called it illegal and “a cruel betrayal of the values of our country.”The case expressed national displeasure and received strong support from Democratic MPs. Dozens of Congress members, including California Senator Adam Shif and Alex Padila, signed a letter, urging the Homeland Security Department to restore the legal status of the family.“We believe that the situation of this family clearly fulfills the need for humanitarian aid and urges you and this administration to reconsider your decision. It is our duty to protect the sick, weak and defenseless. Without action, the SGV will die,” the MPs wrote.
