‘Obama Admin set a target of provoking Trump’: DNI Tulsi Gabbard reopen the 2016 election investigation; Pledge to hand over all documents to Doj

National Intelligence US director Tulsi Gabbard has called for prosecution of former President Barack Obama and senior members of his administration. The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) has accused him of working together to harm Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 election and later damaged his presidency.“We are changing all the documents for DOJ for criminal referrals,” Gabbard wrote on X. “His goal was to use it to President Trump and reduce the will of American people.”In a statement released on Friday, Gabbard stated that “heavy evidence” shows that Trump created a “intelligence information” to lay the foundation described as a “one year coup attempt” after defeating Hillary Clinton, Obama and his national security cabinet.“The issue I am raising is not a partisan issue. This is one who worries every American,” Gabbard said. “The information we are releasing today clearly shows that in 2016 there was a traitorous conspiracy made by the officials at the highest level of our government.”
Powerful people mentioned in the statement
Gabbard announced that all the related documents would be handed over to the Department of Justice for criminal referrals, urging that “no matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy should be investigated and the law should be sued to the extent”.The statement includes top officials, then-DNI James Clapper, CIA director John Brainon, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, State Secretary John Kerry, Attorney General Loreta Lynch and FBI Deputy Director Andrew McKeb, who attended a high level National Security Council meeting on December 9, 2016. Gabbard alleged that the meeting was used to begin a new intelligence community (IC) assessment at Obama’s request, aimed at blaming Russia for interfering in the election.According to Gabbard, before the election, the intelligence assessment concluded that Russia was “probably not trying … to impress the election using cyber means”. In an internal memorandum on 7 December 2016, it also said, “The anti -foreign opponent did not use the cyber attack on the election infrastructure to change the result of the US presidential election.”However, after the White House meeting, the executive assistant of the Clapper allegedly directed directed agencies including CIA, FBI, NSA and DHS to help prepare a fresh IC evaluation on Russian intervention, stating that it was “according to the President’s request”.Gabbard accused Obama’s officials of leaking media outlets such as the Washington Post, claiming that Russia intervened to influence the election results. The assessment of a final intelligence community released on 6 January 2017 was allegedly contrary to the months of previous conclusions. He claimed that this new assessment depends on the sources that the authorities knew that were incredible or “manufactured”, such as now-a-graded steel doseer. Gabbard said this led to a wave of results, including Muller’s investigation, two impeachment of Trump, arrest of high-level officers, and stress with Russia.Gabbard said, “The abuse of our Constitution and the abuse of power is threatened by the very foundation and integrity of our Democratic Republic.” “The trust of American people and the faith in our democratic republic depends on it and the future of our nation depends on it.”Gabard’s move comes amid the increasing Republican investigation into the origin of the Trump-Russia probe, and follows the recent release of the new intelligence record under his office.
