Omar Abdullah says that India will build a memorial killed in Jammu and Kashmir 26 in Besaran Meadow

Pahalgam: J&K government will construct a memorial for 26 people killed at Besaran Meado in Pahgam on 22 April, CM Omar Abdullah on Tuesday announced an outreach for India’s tourist stakeholders in the resort city during an outreach, where he presided over a cabinet meeting in the first day.Omar said, “Everything that happened on April 22 was a heinous work of terror, which was everything to stand for Kashmir. While we do nothing, do compensation for it, Jammu -Kashmir government will build a memorial for our guests who were killed that day,” said Omar.The cabinet meeting approved the memorial in Bairsran – about 7 km from Pahgam and on foot or horse -to -horse – and Omar said that he instructed the PWD to start work.A strong revival has been observed since the cancellation of Article 370 in the economic spine-2019 of J&K, which has been considered as a tourism-long time, proof of stability has been presented with record-breaking footfall. Omar said, “We were doing a great season – people were complaining about high air fares and traffic snarl in Srinagar. Nazar Lag Gai! God’s way is not the way to tell us when things go on our way,” said Omar.He expressed his long -standing disappointment on an international travel advice that discourage the trips in the region. He said, “My hair has been gray fighting against these advisors. Before April 22, I held many discussions with the Union Government as to how we can mount a global campaign against these biased advice,” he said.Omar called tourism a “struggle-plate activity” and said that his government had constantly worked to save it from politics. He told reporters after the cabinet meeting, “Tourism is a means to earn their livelihood. It should be seen as an economic engine.”Omar said that the Center was showing seriousness in reviving tourism, PM Narendra Modi recently organized a high-level review. “We hope all necessary assistance will be provided,” he said.The CM said that 48 destinations had closed the post-Atac, had passed through the security audit and should have opened it again. “If you close the Tulip Garden (in Srinagar), all of Kashmir closed,” he said, citing demands from visitors.His father and President of the National Conference Farooq Abdullah also visited Pahalgam, played a round of golf, and urged tourists to return. Grinding Pakistan -backed terrorists for progress, he said, “We were on the right path until those miscreants came from the other side and destroyed what we had created.
