New Delhi: Indicating a possible harmony with his hardcore-nemsis and one-time deputy Sachin Pilot, Congress leader and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, on Wednesday, saying that the two leaders were “never separated from each other.”“When we were ever different? Love and affection will remain between us,” the news agency PTI quoted Gehlot as saying in Dausa, where he attended a memorial program marking the anniversary of the death of former-union minister and Sachin’s father Rajesh Pilot.The ceremony, including a tribute to Rajesh Pilot’s life and heritage and an exhibition, participated in his Rajasthan along with Sukhjinder Singh Randhiva in his Rajasthan; Govind Singh Dotasara, head of its state unit; Leader of the Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly Tikaram Jul, and others.Gehlot-Pilot FUD is on the dates of December 2018, when the Congress removed the BJP from power in the western state. Then as the Congress chief of the state, the latter was credited with widespread victory. However, the Grand Old Party chose Gehlot for the Chief Minister, while the pilot was made deputy CM.In July 2020, Pilot led a failed rebellion against Gehlot, which managed to save his government.
