One person was killed and four others were injured in the early hours of Sunday, when bullets were fired between two groups at a large outdoor meeting in Danville, Virginia.According to a statement by the Danville Police Department, the shooting took place around 1:30 pm on a private property near the intersection of Carver Drive and Cheyen Drive.Investigators believe that shots were exchanged among the Christler sedan and others in the gathering.Authorities found 22 -year -old Jay’Shaun Tiejae White of Heart, Virginia, who was sitting alone in a Christler sedan in the middle of the road with a gun pellet wound for his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.Another man is believed to be driving a Chrysler, found on a nearby road with a gun pellet wound. He was taken to Swa Health Hospital in Danville. His condition has not been released.Three other victims, two adult men and a 19 -year -old female, reached the hospital in private vehicles and were treated for gunshot wounds.Till Sunday afternoon, all three people were hospitalized, police said. No arrests have been made.Danville Police Department is urging anyone to come forward with information and speak with detectives.
