Openai is loose on another high-day AI talent, Indian-origin researcher trapit Bansal has taken out of Openai to join the meta. Bansal, IIT Kanpur and Indian Institute of Science (IISC) were alumni from Bangalore, from 2022 to Openai. During his time in the company in San Francisco, he played an important role in doing ground work for research of learning his reinforcement, working with co-founder Ilya Sutaskewar. According to a statement shared on X (East Twitter), he also contributed significantly to the development of OpenaiI’s first logic model, O1.Before joining Openai Full -time, Bansal completed the research internship in Tech Giars Microsoft and Google. His academic background consists of master of science in mathematics and statistics of IIT Kanpur.Announcing the move, in his recent X post, Bansal wrote: “Accepted to join @meta! The Superintendent is now in sight.”While his accurate role is unknown, his post shows that he can work within the newly formed superintendent laboratories of Mata. On Monday, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg launched the Meta Superintendent Labs (MSL) in an internal company Memo. The group will oversee the company’s advanced AI research and will be headed by Scale AI CEO Alexandra Wang. Former Github CEO Nut Nut Freedman will co-insert.
