New Delhi: With thousands of Indians being trapped in Iran amidst increasing Israeli-Iran’s tension, India on Wednesday launched Operation Sindhu to their citizens to vacate their citizens from the country.As the first step, according to Mea, 110 students left the Armenian capital of Jerevan on a special flight and landed in Delhi in the early hours of Thursday. As toi reported on Tuesday, these students were first shifted to the border with Armenia.The ministry said in a statement, “The Indian embassy vacated 110 Indian students from North Iran, assisted to cross Armenia on 17 June. The students traveled to Jerevan under the supervision of our missions in Iran and Armenia.”Indian citizens in Iran are advised to keep in touch with the Indian Embassy in Tehran through their emergency helpline, “Meya said.
