Pahalgam Terror Attack: PM Modi reduced his journey to Saudi Arabia, to leave for India on Tuesday night, government sources say. Bharat News

New Delhi: In view of the terrorist attack in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir, 26 people were killed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut his two -day travel to Saudi Arabia and decided to return to New Delhi on Tuesday night, informed by government sources.
PM Modi, who arrived at Jeddah on Tuesday afternoon for bilateral talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, delayed his scheduled meeting for more than two hours in his scheduled meeting to assess the developing situation in Kashmir.
Amid the growing crisis, PM Modi also hosted an official dinner that evening. Originally to return to India on Wednesday night, his plans were adjusted in response to unfolding events.

In the most deadly attack in Jammu and Kashmir since the 2019 Pulwama strike, terrorists set fire to a popular grassland near Pahalgam city, killing 26 people, most of them.
A proxy resistance front (TRF), a Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Tabi (late), claimed the responsibility of the attack.
