Pakistan scraps 44,000 posts of government school teachers

Lahore: The education department of Punjab province in Pakistan has abolished 44,000 posts of government school as part of its outsourcing campaign for the private sector. The step combines existing challenges and conflicts for citizens, faced with a huge inflation, which increases due to continuous job loss in the private sector, and now the government’s sector.
According to reliable sources in the Punjab School Education Department, now it will depend on the owners of the private sector that they will hire teachers according to their policy. On the other hand, teachers say that the decision will add increasing unemployment among the youth. IANS
