Delhi deal with the Ayushman Bharat Scheme with the Center, card distribution from April 10. Bharat News

New Delhi: Under the BJP leadership, the Delhi government has participated with the central government to bring Ayushman Bharat Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJA) in the national capital.
By signing an agreement on Saturday, Delhi became a 35th state/center area to adopt this health plan, leaving West Bengal as the only non-participation state.
The Healthcare Program 27 specialties provides a granting treatment covering 1,961 medical procedures, including drugs, diagnosis, hospital stay, intensive care and surgical intervention.
Qualifying Delhi’s homes will provide an annual health insurance of Rs 10 lakh, which will be divided equally between the contribution of the Central and Delhi Government every 5 lakh rupees.
The agreement was formally given between Delhi officials and the officials of Delhi. National health authorityUnion Health Minister JP Nadda and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended the function.
Speaking after signing the MoU, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta claimed that the step reduces the long gap in healthcare access to the residents of Delhi. He said, “The people of Delhi were victims of the confrontation of the previous state government along with the Center, while the rest of the people of the country were benefiting from Ayushman Bharat, the people here were struggling for treatment,” he said.
He said, “It is a matter of happiness for Delhi. The Delhi government will add Rs 5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh coverage provided by the Center, which will offer a total health insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh for eligible houses.”
The National Health Authority Ayushman Bharat serves as a major organization overseeing the implementation of Health Insurance Program.
After the execution of the agreement, a dedicated drive will begin to register eligible beneficiaries.
After a gap of 26 years, the BJP, which took control of Delhi in this February this February, approved the implementation of the scheme during the inaugural cabinet session of CM Gupta and his ministerial colleagues during the inaugural cabinet session.
