Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has officially addressed his much discussion with Hera Ferri 3 through his legal representatives in Anand and Naik. The actor, who played the lovely character Babu Bhiiaya in the iconic franchise, had earlier indicated that a formal legal statement would soon set the record straight, and now, this response is here.On Sunday morning, the actor took to Twitter and wrote, “My lawyer, Amet Naik sent a proper response to my correct termination and exit. Once they read my response, all issues will be kept to relax.” By evening, his lawyers shared a detailed description with IANS, defending their decision to move away from the third installment of the Fan-Fawight Comedy series.No script, no compromise, no clarityThe legal team claimed that the major delivarables, like a draft of screenplays and a long -time agreement, were never provided. The lawyers told IANS, “Of course, he did not give a draft of the story, screenplay and a long form agreement, which was fundamental for our customer’s engagement.”He further revealed that a notice was sent to Rawal by Firoz Nadidwala, cousin of Sajid Nadiadwala and producer of the original Hera Far Films, which raises concerns over the production of the film. The statement said, “The producer of other other original films, Mr. Nadiadwala, issued a notice to our customer and raised the issues on the film’s production, our customer chose to get out and finished the term with interest by finishing the term sheet,” the statement said.Paresh Rawal also clarified that his decision had nothing to do with a long-term associate Priyadarshan with creative disagreement. “He is very respectful for the filmmaker in his heart,” the statement stated that Rawal found the role of Babu Bhaiya in this phase of his career creatively unexpectedly. I hope they will accept this reality and move beyond our customer,” he said.Rawal also returned a signature fee of Rs 11 lakh with interest in Akshay Kumar’s production house.With the legal teams now joined and the prestigious Babu Bhaiya officially disappeared, the fate of Hera Feri 3 remains uncertain.
