New Delhi: The ongoing rift between Maharashtra’s sub -district Ajit Pawar and his uncle Sharad Pawar has spread to the cooperative sector, both camps have entered the ground for the upcoming election for the Malegaon Cooperative Sugar Mill in Baramati.Ajit Power, who contested the cooperative sugar mill elections after more than four decades, is supported by the Neelkantheshwar panel, which currently has electricity in the mill. In response, the NCP (SP) has launched the Bachhav panel by fastering the rivalry. The election is scheduled for 22 June, with the result being declared on 24 June.A total of 90 candidates are in the fray for fielding nominee, not for political parties, not for political parties. The Nilkanteshwar panel has fielded 21 candidates, while Baliraja is 20 in the Bachhav panel. Another group, cum -bachava panel, is also contesting the election, which is a triangular battle, the news agency PTI.Sharad Pawar, who is contesting elections, addresses party workers and members of the mill’s election college, which included residents of half a dozen villages in Baramati taluka, and warned them to motivate them during the campaign.“During the pole, some people may misuse power and offer an alirement, but make sure you do not sell your votes, come and come,” he urged.Prior to the 2023 partition to the Nationalist Congress Party, only one panel, Neelkantheshwar represented the Pawar family in the sugar mill. Now, Partition has given birth to groups competing in the pole.Talking to reporters, Sharad Pawar regretted the partition and said that this fresh competition could have been avoided, the ruling panel included members of his group.“Even today, we do not desire to take such a situation. However, the party was forced to take a stand due to those circumstances. There was a approach to all, this situation (floating rival panel) could be avoided.Sharad Pawar also played the long -term impact of the competition and said that disagreement is limited to this election.“This is limited to this particular election, including only 19,000 voters, the members of the mill who deserve to vote,” he said.He said, “In the pole, some panels are contesting. In democracy, everyone has this right. I have no complaints about it. My only appeal is that after voting, the emphasis should be laid down to resolve the issues faced by the people here,” he said.
