Pennsylvania shooting: Two state soldiers shot in Sushekhana County; Investigation is going on

Two Pennsylvania State Police soldiers were shot in a developing incident at Sushekhana County on Thursday morning, giving immediate response from state officials.According to State Police spokesman Troper Logan T Browse, the incident took place with Route 171 near Thomson village, about 40 miles north of Scantton.Governor Josh Shapiro addressed the shooting while speaking at an event outside Philadelphia.“In Sushekhana County, about an hour ago, two state soldiers were shot. Lori and I are praying for those soldiers,” Shapiro said quoting AP. “I want you to know that I have communicated with Colonel Paris. He is on the spot. It’s an active situation and at the conclusion of this incident I am planning to head myself.”Colonel Christopher Paris, who led Pennsylvania State Police, is currently in the shooting scene.Officials have not yet released information about the conditions of the soldiers or the circumstances around the shooting.Senator Dave McCormic also accepted the situation on social media X, provided support for the soldiers involved.McCormic said, “Dina and I are praying for our brave state soldiers in Sushekhana County and closely monitor the situation as more details.”Investigation is on.
